DIRECT LINE TO CONSUMERS

NEW CWCS OPEN TO VISITORS!
Visitors to and through California can mark their maps with two new CWC stops in Truckee and Tulare. The High Sierra’s first CWC is set in Truckee’s historic train depot, with easy highway access and close proximity to a bounty of winter and summer activities. The Tulare CWC, in the Central Valley, is located in the Heritage Complex at the International Agri-Center, visible from Highway 99. The center shares a location with the Farm Equipment Museum and AgVentures, an interactive learning center.

Direct Line to Consumers

The California Welcome Centers (CWCs) promote the entire state and their immediate areas, encouraging travelers to stay longer. CWCs provide destination, attractions, performing arts and accommodations information from throughout the state, among other resources. In 2008-2009, the CWCs focused on education and outreach with a presence at major tourism conferences, in addition to training and funding resources.
