CTTC’s cooperative programs helped partners from across the state market their destinations and activities in 2008–2009. Created to support the industry by providing marketing opportunities, co-ops are valuable tools for extending the reach of California’s many industry stakeholders.

Extending Partner Reach

Through print inserts, CTTC extends the reach of industry stakeholders throughout California, enabling them to showcase their destinations in high-profile publications. More than 30 partners joined CTTC to produce "Inside Scoop," which reached 950,000 readers of Travel + Leisure, National Geographic Traveler and Food & Wine; 215,000 readers of the Vancouver Sun; 50,000 American Express cardholders; over 3 million subscribers to Dunhill Vacation News and Air Canada e-newsletters; and 2 million Travelocity.com users. The spring insert, "An Insider’s Guide to the Land of Wine & Food," reached a total audience of nearly 2.6 million through Gourmet and Conde Nast Traveler magazines and Web promotions.
