The California Cultural and Heritage Tourism Corps (CCHTC) brings together many different perspectives – arts, language, museums, heritage, crafts, public lands, architecture, design, film and broadcasting, agriculture, as well as economic development and local government – to develop California cultural and heritage tourism. Collaboration is an essential part of any cultural and heritage tourism project. Through its annual Symposium, as well as numerous regional workshops throughout the year, CCHTC offers industry partners educational forums and opportunities to find partners with the right skills to help share the work and increase success.

THE ROADS THAT LEAD TO CALIFORNIA'S CULTURE & HERITAGE
Join industry stakeholders from around the state on January 27-29, 2010, in Chico for the optimum educational and networking forum. Travel through California’s historic roads and scenic byways – the paths that lead to California’s abundance of culture and heritage – while learning how to build innovative tourism partnerships, find worthwhile funding opportunities in a challenging economy, and collaborate with partners for more profitable marketing exposure.
Wondering if a scenic byway or historic road runs through or near your destination or attraction? Visit the California Scenic Highway Mapping System for more information.
Following the Symposium, the California Watchable Wildlife Project (CWWP) will host its California: Nature is Our Heritage program. CWWP celebrates California's wildlife and diverse habitats by acknowledging and elevating the value of wildlife viewing to benefit individuals, families, communities, and industries while fostering awareness and support for conservation and protection of wildlife and habitats. See the Symposium Program for multiple session details.
Register online or by fax to take advantage of the special $99 Symposium rate, or for just $139, attend both the Symposium and Watchable Wildlife Program (rates increase on 12/1/09). Click here for the registration form.
Are you a college student interested in attending? Call 916.319.5422 for more details on special rates.
