Description
Inspire and educate media from Mexico, Canada, Australia and New Zealand through first-hand experience of the state.  Secure media coverage in key international markets by sourcing and facilitating press trips that showcase various destinations, properties and attractions.

Background/Accomplishments
CTTC hosted four Canadian media for the 2007 Los Angeles Media Reception, who spent time after the event traveling through Southern California. This fam generated coverage for L.A., Beverly Hills, Newport Beach, West Hollywood and Palm Springs, among others. For the 2008 San Francisco Media Reception, CTTC hosted two Canadian journalists—one traveled to Monterey/Santa Cruz, and one covered San Francisco.

Metrics
  • Resulting coverage is analyzed in terms of equivalent ad value and therefore ROI of funds invested.  
  • Partner Web sites will also be included where relevant, allowing the tracking of hits if a specific URL is provided.

Key Dates
Media trips will be proposed a minimum of four weeks before arrival. Opportunities arising beyond this time frame will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
