Description
Inspire and educate European media about California through first-hand experience of the state. Secure media coverage in the U.K., Ireland, Germany and Scandinavia by sourcing and facilitating press trips that showcase various destinations, properties and attractions.

Background/Accomplishments
Now and Then is the main holiday program in the U.K. Filmed in San Francisco in 2008, "Wish You Were Here" captured changes the City went through since it was featured on the show in the 1970s. This effort resulted in a 30-minute program that aired on ITV, with an ROI of $379 million.

No Frontiers is the only holiday program in Ireland and has recently been moved to a primetime slot on Sunday evenings. The crew looked at food and wine-based holidays in San Francisco and Sonoma County, producing an ROI of $103 million.

VOXTOURS, Germany’s most successful TV travel program, returned to California in the spring of 2008 to film its popular TV show “The California Reporter.” Featuring the experiences of ordinary citizens who have won a working holiday as amateur broadcasters, this show is watched up to 1.31 million viewers. The 2008 broadcast showcased attractions and activities in San Diego, the L.A. and San Francisco areas, Sonoma County, Gold Country, Desert and the High Sierras. In addition to the TV show, “California Reporter” blogs on the VOX Web site reach an additional 730,000 unique users per month.
