Description

Please join us on Wednesday, January 20, 2010 for the International Summit & Marketplace, taking place at the historic Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel from 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. (optional breakfast networking from 8:00 -9:30 am). This one-day summit is a great opportunity for our current CVB partners and those interested in extending their marketing efforts into the international arena.

Meet and hear from each of CTTC’s seven international office representatives (Australia, Germany, Japan, United Kingdom, Mexico, South Korea, and China). They will preview their 2010-2011 programming, share new in-country market research and give you a snapshot of their future marketing strategies. We hope that sharing this information and key initiatives will help you to understand our international marketing efforts moving forward, and encourage you to collaborate in the future.

  • Hear from leading keynote speakers, including Caroline Beteta, California Travel & Tourism Commission’s President & CEO and Suzanne D. Cook, U.S. Travel Senior Vice President of Research, who will provide insights into international visitation dynamics in California.

  • Afternoon break-out sessions to learn how to maximize your international efforts in our primary markets. Plus, hear from our secondary market representatives on how to enter emerging markets including India, Scandinavia, France, Italy and Brazil.
  • Network at breakfast with industry partners and meet one-on-one with our primary and secondary international offices in an extended hour-and-a-half luncheon and trade show.
