STAY TUNED FOR 2011 STATE PARKS VISITORS MAP OPPORTUNITIES.
The California State Parks Welcome Map is a large fold-out map of California showing all 278 state parks and giving information about park highlights and fun things to do in the state. 1.2 million copies of The Map are distributed at all California State Park entrances, Welcome Centers, and Visitors Bureaus across the state.
The Map also includes a select number of advertisements, including a section for California-based “eco” destinations. Maps begin distribution at parks in May 20 and last throughout the year, until quantities are depleted.
- A great opportunity for DMOs and other partners to reach beyond the average tourist, to park visitors who have a more active lifestyle.
- Especially good for rural and eco destinations. Park visitors spend an average of $616 per park trip and take three trips per year, in-state.
- Great year-round exposure.
Half panel or full panel placements on the map pages, with destinations highlighted on the park map. Panel size is 8 x 4.16” and space is limited to 3 full panels.
